Abstract:After the end of the First World War, Weimar Germany strove to lift herself out of the isolation, to cast off the yoke of the Versailles Treaty, and to return to the Chinese market. Therefore, her China policy was of a "equal", "friendly", and "neutral" character, which was of great help not only to resuming diplomatic relations between China and Germany but also to promoting the development of the Sino-Germany relations.
