Abstract:The Tang Dynasty's cultural family is composed of poetry and other literary and artistic modes of expression. This composition reflects the blood relationship between poetry and other various literary and artistic modes of expression, as the latter often become spread medium of the former. Of the various modes of expression, dance accompanied by music, recitation, calligraphy, inscription, painting and legends all contributed a great deal more to the spread of the Tang Dynasty poems, for dance accompanied by music, strong in artistic charm and unique in spread function, promoted the prosperity and blending of poetry and music; calligraphy and inscription, long in existence and pleasant to the eye, mirrors the cultural character of the Chinese nation; painting is workable in visual sense and feel for sense; and legends are a kind of popular cultural expression whichplays a special narrative role in the spread of poetry.
