Abstract：In the 20 years' reform and opening-up, several cases concerning pseudo-science occurred in China. During the "fight" against the pseudo-science, the news media mainly act as "fighters", firing vigorously against the pseudo-science, but sometimes they act disgracefully as "drivers", driving the pseudo-science forward unconsciously, which make the pseudo science, under the cloak of science, run rampantly at the same time. This paper reconsiders the role of the news media in the fight against pseudo science.
