Abstract：Generally speaking, the New Culture Movement involves two aspects: the intelligent elite then created the New Culture, which included the direction of the New Culture and the way of creating the New Culture; the intelligent elite set up movements on Colloquilism, Popular Words, Proletarian literature and Latin of Chinese character. They hoped to edify the masses and spread the New Culture.
