Abstract:This thesis analyses the similarities and differences between Sun Yat sen's and Yen Fuh's ideal social patterns, and draws some enlightenment from these two patterns. It points out that both Sun Yat sen and Yen Fuh had developed logically their ideal social patterns from their patriotic thoughts; that they both took the modernization and equalization as the main goals of their ideal society, but they had some different emphasis in the equalization; that they both had discussed the cause of the apperance of the socialism, but they had some differences in their recognition upon the relationship between ideal and reality. It also concludes that the two ideal social patterns are ahead of their times, and that the socialism should be founded on the base of the advanced social productive forces.
