Abstract:This thesis is to be devoted to the analysis of the theoretical domain of "the vocation of the meaning of a word and the creativity of the textual exegesis" for the further analysis of the traditional scholiuns of the Chinese lexicology and the research of the exposition of chinese classics. In the first section, it expounds the vocation of the meaning of a word and the basis and the function of its formation. The last section explores the creativity of the effects of its formation. In a word, the vocation of the meaning of a word, one of the the basic features of the meaning of a word, embodies the relationship between human beings and the meaning of a word, between human beings and the world, while the creativity of the textual exegesis, one of the basic features of the textual exegesis, embodies the relationship between human beings and the ancient cultural codes and records, between human beings and the study of the exposition. The two interact with each other. The former is the basis of the formation of the latter while the latter is the pragmatic effect of the former.
