Abstract：Being located among the main political discourse, modernism and post modernism, the modernity of Hu Feng and July Group has not yet been clearly revealed. The literature thoughts of Hu Feng and July Group inherite both enligtening tradition since "May Fourth", and Marxism, which look on man as a complex spiritual individual, and set foot in reality, so as to form its own distinct introspection and show a difference relationship with the main political discourse and modernity. The thesis gives a new view on how Hu Feng accepts Marxism and how Hu Feng discusses about reader subject.
