Abstract：Folk beliefs are the most important content which regulate the development of folk legend nar-ration. And folk legends offer convenience for the transmission and retainment of folk beliefs. Folk beliefs exist in the folk legends mainly by means of narrative words of myth's surplus echoes,folk sacrifi-cial rites and historical expression. However, the interaction between folk legends and folk beliefs also brings negative influence on the creation and transmission of folk legends. The folk beliefs are the minor factors that lead folk legends to featuring being sacred.
