Abstract:There are many differences between the city-states of Greece and city walls in Central Asia, such as, the geography environment, social system, survival idea and the trend of development etc. Open policy carried out by Greek city-states and close policy carried out by city walls in Central Asia are mainly influenced by their geographic environment. In political system, the city-states of Greece pursue democracy while the absolutism is popular in Central Asia; In the concept of survival, the city-states of Greece take radical measures, and the city walls in Central Asia stick to the old ways of farming, or play an intermediary trade role in trade. All the differences lead to different fortune, which both tave made a great contribution to human being.
