Abstract：Based on the theory of "Economic Man", it is said that the pursuit of interest may rich the material prosperity of society, while the subject of higher education, which its purpose is to pursue maximum of interest of its own, may also promote the development of the higher education sectors. This article will examine how the subjects of higher education as Economic Man operate under the context of economy market, that is, how the three subjects of higher education such as Government, institutions, students or families make gemes to pursue the maximum of interest of their own when their participating in the affairs of higher education. However, it should be noted, some behaviors of "rent-seeking" of higher education as Economic Man are easily made in the process of pursuing interests, which should be controlled and overcome by the self-regulation of institutions of higher education.
