Abstract：Bai Xian-yong is a novelist with poetic wisdom, and the traits of his novelistic poetic embody three aspects: the charm of temporal poetic is from his poetic thinking to apperceiving time; lamenting the sense of vicissitudes and figuring the parting beauty; the tragical poetic is from his profound tragic consciousness. The tragedy in his novel sums up to three categories: social tragedy, psychic tragedy and personal tragedy. His symbolic poetic presents to be amalgamation by realistic painting and symbol, which includes poetic emotion, various symbolic forms.
