In fact,it was related to his disappointment to Qian Long. So when Qianlong went to south patrol again, Yuan Mei refused Yin Jishan's opinion about repairing Suiyuan in order to wait the arrival of the Emperor. From the perspective of his moral courage, Yuan Mei is worthy of study who kept the independent personality in the late period of Feudal Age.
