Abstract：Flood myth is famous and popular in the word.The study of it is hotspot in the international field.In recent centuries,the western scholars went deep into the study of it and explained it from different views,such as mythologists' analyzing the text of Noah,philologists' putting the text of Mesopotamia in order,archeologists' exploring the relic of flood,geologists quarrelling on the reason and scale of flood,folklorists researching on the oral legend of it ect.Because there are many various versions of flood myth which have been found from different nations,the western scholars' study methods and lessons provide good experience and lesson for us.
