Abstract:The paper discussed the theoretical relationship among land endowment, relative deprivation and rural labors' migration decision-making based on the importance of land endowment to rural household in less developed regions and then made an empirical analysis. It made conclusions as following: 1) a U type relationship between per capital land and migration.2) people who were born in the eighties of the twentieth century would like to work outside of the villages strongly, especially women.3) the migration tendency of female labors aged from 26 to 35 declined obviously, but the elders in the family could help to take care of children and this helped to migrate for young mothers. It didn't find the evidence to support the theoretical relationship between relative deprivation and migration, but it's more due to the data than the theoretical hypothesis problem.
