Abstract:In order to make an objective description of educational situations in different historic periods,it is very necessary to examine the connotation and extension of the educational concepts in different periods.Besides,to reestablish Chinese education study,it is also necessary to dig out the theoretic resources of traditional education,set up a bridge of transforming traditional educational concepts to modern educational ones.In a sense,the research on the history of Chinese education concepts should avoid an outdated mode of being from concept to concept,instead,it should center around two aspects,i.e.the change of historical facts reflected in the concepts and the change in the words describing the comcepts to probe into the evoluting process and rules of concepts themselves.
