Abstract：Maritime Community of Shared Future is an important part of the community of shared future for mankind. It is China's wisdom and plan to maintain maritime safety and stability and promote global marine governance. Since ancient times， the sea area of Southeast Asia has been the intersection of international economic and political interests， as well as a maritime transport hub. The construction of “Maritime Community of Shared Future” in Southeast Asia has not only the historical basis accumulated from geopolitical theory， original ecological community， trade and religious culture， but also the realistic basis composed of the cooperation platform of “21 Century Maritime Silk Road”， “ASEAN Community”， “Maritime Security Destiny Community”， “Free Trade Area” regional common market and China-ASEAN Fund. On the premise of history and reality， the approach of constructing “Maritime Community of Shared Future” in Southeast Asia Sea Area is to vigorously promote the idea of “one should be as encompassing as the vast ocean which admits hundreds of rivers”， to penetrate into the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity， to publicize policies for partnership and mutual benefit， to beware of the “Great Power Balance Strategy” of the countries in the region and popularize the classic demonstration of the “Pan-South China Sea Economic Cooperation Circle”.
