Abstract:Taking the Hunan customs and cultural tourism town as the research object, this article explores the spatial structure characteristics and the driving factors of it applying the nearest neighbor analysis, Kernel density estimation, and hot spot analysis. The results show that the overall spatial distribution of Hunan customs and cultural tourism town tend to be weakly agglomerated, and the spatial structure belongs to a cohesive spatial structure which is random. The density is heavier in the northeast of Hunan customs and cultural tourism town than that in the southwest, forming a high-density area, Changsha, and spreading circularly with the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration as the core. The spatial difference between the hot spot and the cold spot area of Hunan customs and cultural tourism town significance. The distribution area of cold spot area is larger than that of hot spot area. The overall layout shows the olive-shaped distribution characteristics of “large middle and small heads”. The economic base, population density, urbanization level, radiation effects in high-level scenic spots, policy orientation and source market are the main driving factors for the spatial distribution of Hunan customs and cultural tourism town.
