Abstract:Turbidity of water is an important index of water quality, which is closely related to anthropogenic disturbance, hydrology and climate change. The Wuhan Military World Games and its water environment are the hot topics of public concern. Based on the data of five water quality monitoring stations located in Liangzi Lake from October 8th to November 6th, 2019, the influence of human disturbance on the temporal and spatial variation of water turbidity in the Liangzi Lake is studied, taking the triathlon of the Wuhan Military World Games as the starting point. At the same time, in order to exclude the possible impact of meteorological and hydrological factors, attribution analysis is carried out with the observed values of turbidity in combination with the data of wind speed, temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, rainfall and water level datas. The results are shown as follows. 1) The water turbidity of the Liangzi Lake stations did not change much before, during and after the Military Games. 2) The turbidity of each station before, during and after the Military Games was complicated by meteorological factors and water level factors, but fluctuated in a stable range on the whole. It’s found that the human activities such as the Wuhan Military World Games have little influence on the water quality of Liangzi Lake, and the water quality monitoring and treatment of Liangzi Lake have been completed well. The water environment of Liangzi Lake is relatively stable.
