Abstract:Aiming at the instability, non-linearity and parameter incertitude of the active magnetic bearing (AMB), this paper proposes an adaptive PID controller based on BP neural networks. Containing the non-linear combination of proportional, integral and differential signals, the output of this controller compensates the non-linearity of AMBs and makes the control effect better. At the same time, this controller can self-tune, which avoids the difficulty of tuning the parameter in the traditional PID controller. The simulation result of an AMB system indicates the validity of the proposed controller.
