Dynamic sliding window-based network coding for space-sky information network

Abstract:Due to the influence of high delay and high bit error rate, the throughput of aerospace information network is limited, which is a great challenge to improve the throughput in the sky information network. The opportunity routing technique and network coding technique, which can improve network throughput, are studied in this article. Focusing on the network encoding mechanism of MORE protocol and SlideOR protocol, we point out the shortcomings of their application to the sky relay network, and apply a dynamic sliding window-based network coding (DSWNC) scheme to the Space-Sky Information Network. The simulation results show that this scheme has a higher end to end throughput than the MORE protocol and the SlideOR protocol in high delay time and high error code environment.
