Abstract:The Sudakov suppressed Balitsky-Kovchegov equation is used to study the charm and bottom quark productions at HERA energies in the framework of color dipole model. The integral-differential Balitsky-Kovchegov equation was numerically solved in order to get the Sudakov suppressed dipole amplitues which are used to describe the heavy quark production reduced cross-section in electron-proton scattering at HERA. To avoid the overfit, the parameters from fitting to the reduced cross-section in our previous work were directly utilized to study the charm and bottom quark productions. The outcomes show that the Sudakov suppressed Balitsky-Kovchegov equation provides a rather good description of the heavy quark production data, which indicates that the Sudakov effect is significant in the heavy quark productions.
