Abstract:This paper discusses the evolvement of the ancient mathematcal symbles in the light of the primitive count symbles, numerical symbles, and algebraical and geometrical symbles, leading to the conclution that the primitive count symbles have a more basic and important function than that of techniques of count numbers, and that though at that time, foundemental system of numerical symbles had been formed, only a few abbreviated and pictographic symbles were expressed unsystematically in the algebraical and geometrical domains.
