Abstract:By use of the theory of quantum electrodynamics, we have studied the dipole squeezing of a three level atom interacting with a two mode coherent field. The results show that the dipole squeezing of the three level atom appears clearly under the interaction of the weak field,the two mode field intensities and the atem field eeupling constants have a strong effect on the dipole squeeing .
