Abstract：By systematic analysis of the actuality of the urban transportation, this paper comes up with structural model for Urban Geographic Information System for Transportation (GIS-T), deduces mathematical model for the network flow of transportation; and the latter, considered as the spatial analysis system of GIS, linked with the software of GeoStar, ls adopted to realize the prototype of GIS-T, with the example of application to constructed District, Wuhan City.
