Abstract:The stochastic resonance (SR) phenomenon in a bistable system under the simultan eous action of multiplicative and additive noise and periodic signal is studied by using the theory of signaltonoise ratio (SNR) in the adiabatic limit. Th e expressions of the SNR for the case of correlation between noises are obtain ed. It is found that the SNR is not only dependent on the intensity of correlati ons between noises, but also on the initial condition of the system in the prese nce of correlations between two noises.
