Abstract：This paper discusses the line transversals to a family of parallel right trapezoids on Helly's Theorem,moreover it points out a new method for studying the Helly number to a family of convex sets by means of slopes and intercepts of the lines,at the same time by using this new method it considers the line transversals to a family of parallel general trapezoids and reveals the essence of the line transversals to a family of convex sets.
