Abstract:Changjiang River has undoubtedly cut across the coping of confined water layer in Honghu district, and has direct waterpower relation with it because the standard elevation of Changjiang River's bottom in Honghu district is less than 5 meter above the Yellow Sea base level but that of the coping of confined water layer is up to 9 meter. Based on investigation of the hydrogeologic condition here and analysis of the intensity and the range that the water level change of Changjiang River influences the dynamic development of confined water, this paper set up a mathematic model to simulate the dynamic development of confined water in Honghu district. This model can reveal the dynamic development law of confined water near the shore of Changjiang River to some extents.
