Abstract: In all growth season, we measured the transpiration rate (Tr) of some woody plants in deciduous broad-leaved forest in Beijing Mountain zone. The results showed the major factors to affect transpiration of plants are stomatal resistance (Rt), solar radiation, leaf temperature, chamber temperature and relatively humidity. Because of species characteristics, the effect factors to transpiration have some difference to different species. According to analysis the relationship between transpiration and stomatal resistance of Quercus liaotungensis, Prunus var. ansu, Fraxinus rhynchophylla and Juglans mandishurica, the results indicate there is no-linear relationship. The equation are following: T_(r Quercus liaotungensis)=10.0-4.7ln(R_t);T_(r Prunus var. ansu)=11.0-5.67ln(R_t);T_(r Fraxinus rhynchophylla)=10.6-4.67ln(R_t);T_(r Juglans mandishurica)=6.79-2.26ln(R_t).
