Abstract:The chiral materials are prepared by using copper helices as chiral inclusions, in which paraffins was used as matrix. The reflectance of chiral materials are measured in the range of 8.5-11.5 GHz by using the measurement method of microwave circular waveguide. The effects on the reflectance of chiral material by the diameter, the pitch, the gauge and the rings of the helices have been analyzed. The results indicate that selecting appropriate constitutive parameters of helix can depress the reflectance of chiral materials efficiently.
