Abstract：Proceeding from the current situation and prospect of the moderngeomorphology both at home and abroad,This article puts forward four piecesof advice on the development of geomorphology of Hubei by 2000,which is ba-sed on the present situation of geomorphology of Hubei and the requirementsfor realizing the stratigic goal by the end of this century.The four pieces ofadvice are as following:Devetope crosswise contact with the other natural sciences;Carry out a further development in the applied geomorphology;Make a break-through in basic theory and improve greatly our research mathods.
