Abstract:In this paper,Guizhou Province was selected as the research sample, and the index system was constructed using the improved entropy method, spatial exploratory analysis method (ESDA), spatial regression model and other methods. By open GeoDA and ArcGIS the evolution characteristics and driving mechanism of tourism economy in Guizhou Province from the perspective of time and spacewere explored. The results are shown as follows. 1) From 2009 to 2018, there weredistinct differences in tourism economy among cities and states in Guizhou Province, and the overall difference has the characteristics of expansion trend. The unbalanced character of tourism economic development was obvious. 2) On the whole, the tourism economic development of the southeast of Guizhou Province was better than that of the northwest region. The spatial structure has changed from “Guiyang-Southeast Guizhou” dual core structure to “Guiyang” single core structure, and the development trend of “one branch is outstanding” in Guiyang city was increasingly prominent. 3) Moran's I index was positive and shows a trend of fluctuation and decline over time. With the change of local autocorrelation, the number of H-H type cities and states decreases, the number of L-Ltype cities and States increases first and then decreases, and the number of L-H type cities and States increases from scratch. The development of tourism economy showed a discrete development trend. 4) Tourism resources, reception capacity, traffic conditions, scientific and technological innovation, policy support, human resources and economic level have significant driving effects on tourism development in Guizhou Province. The SLM test of spatial regression model indicates that government investment has the strongest regulatory power on regional tourism economic development.Human resources, tourism resources, economic level and other dynamic factors maintain a sustained positive driving force.Scientific and technological innovation promotes the construction of smart tourism from negative to positive, and traffic conditions turned to negative correlation due to insufficient regional cooperation.
