| On the Special Values of News Comment |

Abstract The special values of news comment mainly lie in its significance to individuals on three different levels. The first level is a means of public recognition. The second is a method of introspection and self-control. The third is a way of self-realization.In the process of democracy and legality, the society is becoming more and more mature. The special value of news comment may and should be strengthened. It will bring about positive influence on the social functions of news comment and the news spreading as a whole.
