| On the Same Trade Alliance of Suzhou Silk Industry in the Republic China Period |

Abstract The same trade alliance of industry and commerce was a popularly set up administrative organ in the Republic of China period. Its development met the needs of the economic structure's transformation and the modernization of trade organ in modern China. Compared with traditional guild, the same trade alliance of Suzhou silk industry improved a lot in organic form and the organ. In its function of management and external connection, the exterior tendentiousness and openness inclination were very apparent, which played an important role in the development of trades and promote the economic progress. In a word, the silk trade alliance embodied the characteristic of autonomy of the capitalist class's trade organ.
