Abstract Ji Jiu Pian , written in two thousand years ago, was prevailing as a textbook for children to recognize Chinese characters. As a matter of fact, it has the function of both a book for language and for common sense. This book has involved in many natural and social knowledge people then had. The content of this book is very rich which has special historical value to the research of the history of Qin and Han Dynasty.
