Abstract To push forword further the inquiry into the essence, characteristic, position, and destiny of Folk Psychology in China, this paper analyses the meaning, content, and characteristic of Folk Psychology, and probes into the interpretation, contention and significance which western Philosophy of Mind had set off around this task.
