Abstract This thesis tries to break through more than 80 years' common opinions on Wang Guo wei's art category research and expounds that, using unique methodology and adapting traditional Chinese national art easthetics' discourse type, Wang Guo wei established an art category system which took "nature" as its core and nature realm tragedy as its three main streams.
