Abstract Function and value are a couple of close concepts, but there are some basic differences. Value is more subjective judgment while function is more objective attribution and has technical meaning. TV function also has a couple of layers, one is the technical layer, one is the artistic layer. The former establishes the exchange features of the TV as mass media, and the latter establishes the esthetic features of the TV as art, their relationship is dialectical.
