Abstract On analyzing the alliance body founded by GMT and CPC, this thesis tries to seek out the reasons of the split of the collaboration and then argues that there was a widespread negative mood existing in the two parties from the very beginning which planted the seeds of the split; the unbalance between the power of the Left Wing and that of the Right Wing determined the split after the alliance was founded; and the split also resulted from the big defects lying in the Neo Three Principles of the People which was served as the political foundation of the collaboration.
