| Mao Tsetung''s "Intermediate Zone" Theory and the Forming of Sino-Europe Geostrategic Relationship Pattern |

Abstract The forming of Sino Europe geostrategic relationship pattern had its special historical process. With the extending of the colonialism system basing on the European center, China had been suffered a lot while it was brought into the world political economic system. Thus, many problems existed between Sino Europe traditional relationship. However, the bilateral relationship has changed remarkably after the collapse of the old colonialism system. As the two pillars of the Euro Asia continental geopolitics, the bilateral relationship was channeled by their deep-rooted geopolitical perspectives, including both their traditional cultural factors and the ideological differences. This article tries to analyze the connection between Mao Tsetung's "Intermediate Zone" theory and the forming of Sino Europe geostrategic relationship.
