| On American Presidential Election System from the perspective of Democracy |

Abstract A lot of controversy about the consequence caused by American presidential election system when it is put in practice. The key to the comprehension of American presidential election system lies in the relation between it and the democracy. This thesis analyzes it from the perspective of democracy, and indicates that the stability of American presidential election system is that it can avoid the disadvantages of the democratic system and benefit the politics of America.
