| Way of Life and Quality of Life: Special Perspective of Chinese Social Welfare Research |

Abstract The way of life is an important topic in Chinese soc iology research. Social welfare research and social policy research are new issu es in China. The way of life and quality of life are the common theoretical and policy issues in field of sociological research and social welfare research. How to deal with sociological orientation and social welfare orientation of study o n the way of life in China, is an important theoretical and practical issues tha t both involve how to develop the study on the way of life in China and how to i mprove Chinese social welfare and social policy. Based on social condition in Ch ina and USA-European academic tradition, the article explores the relation betw een the way of life and social welfare research.
