| A Rational Thought about Constructing the Peace System of Korea Peninsula |

Abstract The separation of Korea Peninsula is the result of t he cold war. The Armistice Agreement, which has kept "the cold peace" in korea p eninsula over half the century, can't meet the needs of the development of Korea Peninsula' situation after the cold war. Now in Korea Peninsula, it is a good b eginning to the process of the national reconciliation, peace and unification si nce the historically significant metting of the heads of the north and the south Korea in 2000. On one hand, positive conditions have been created for construc ting the peace system in Korea Peninsula after the meeting; on the other hand, t he situation of Korea Peninsula which is changing to the reconciliation, the pea ce and stability will be promoted further effectively by the peace system.
