Abstract Through deeply analyzing the characteristics of participative categories of Bakhtin's aesthetics and literature theory, the purpose of this text is to interpret the deep relation of Bakhtin's aesthetics and literature theory so as to understand the value point that Bakhtin's theory takes. The characteristics of participative categories in Bakhtin's aesthetics and literature theory are as follows; Firstly, the great literary idea in the view of unitary culture vision and aesthetic eventness on the base of participative thinking; secondly, literary form categories with anti-reificative metaphysics meaning; thirdly, category system with the otherness as a core.
