| The Theory of Vico''''s Poetic Creativity |

Abstract Surveying myth and hominid, Vico considers the imagination is the eye of creativity, and the creativity of hominid is determined by their "common sense". This creativity puts the poetic in the root of human cultural creativity and stresses phronesis, which supplies an important resource of theory to the reflection of western culture and mentality.
