| On Terms of Special Word Order in Chinese |

Abstract Through systematic examination of the existing literature, the article finds that some terms of the special word order in Chinese cannot be used to accommodate all their referents and some are not properly selected. It thinks that the solution to these problems is to select or create a set of new terms to replace the old ones, which will be able to give the special word order a standardized and scientific explanation.
