| Interpersonal Acceptance and Chinese Appellations |

Abstract Appellations are related with the linguistics, the interpersonal acceptance and social stratification. This paper divides Chinese appellations in accordance with the interpersonal acceptance into three categories; the upgraded appellations, the protruded appellations and the respectful form of common appellations. The upgraded appellations are divided into probable upgrading and definite upgrading forms. The protruded appellations are divided into the forms of generation seniority, title and profession. In the respectful form of common appellations, it discusses three common appellations which are teachers, misters and masters.
