Abstract This paper focuses on evolutionary psychology's methodology. It argues that there was the intrinsic contradictions unsurmounted by itself in evolutionary psychology's methodology. That is, research on evolutionary origins in psychological capacities was not enough to complete inquiry goal on the architectures in cognitive capacities or mechanism of information processing. Evolutionary psychology was not a new cognitive psychology.
