| Globalization and A Singular Modernity |

Abstract Modernity is a very important subject to be investigated today. China is generally in the process of modernization now. The essay is to discuss about Chinese modernity in the context of globalization. It would also propose an argument on the debate about Fredric Jameson. Jameson's latest work A Singular Modernity theorizes modernity from the postmodern perspective. The essay would also reflect the arguments of the book in its articulation.
