Abstract The thesis builds a choice model on labor disposition of China's peasant household. Its prerequisite is a comprehensive hypothesis on rational behavior, market equilibrium and preference stabilization within the framework of Neo-Classical Economics. It suggests removing the market and institutional discriminations against rural residents in order to reduce the rural population once and for all. Finally it puts on some problems which pending further discussion.
