| On the Sorts and Characteristics of Election System |

Abstract China is heading for democracy. The National People's Congress and all kinds of elections offer Chinese people exercises to execute their democratic rights. In the near future, both the range and levels of elections will be enlarged and raised. In order to deal with the nature of gradual openness, it is time to discuss and explore different election methods. Different election methods lead to different results, and different election methods fit into different election natures. This paper introduces briefly several typical elections' operation methods and characteristics, some of which are created by Chinese villagers' committee.
